Creating the conditions for safeguarding excellence

Overview

This new course for trust safeguarding leaders explores how to create the conditions, consistency and capacity to achieve safeguarding excellence across a group of schools.

Drawing on the principles set out in Safeguarding at scale, it offers fresh practical insights in three key areas: creating clear and effective oversight of safeguarding at all levels of governance, developing consistency and embedding best practice across schools, and building, supporting and retaining a strong and skilled safeguarding workforce.

Who is it for?

This course is for trust safeguarding leads.

Participants on this course are also welcome to invite their trust governance professionals to attend the first session with them as their guests to support ongoing conversations in their trust about the improvement of safeguarding governance.
