The trustee role in building your people strategy explained

This programme will help trustees to understand their role in overseeing the creation and implementation of the trust’s people strategy and policies.

The seminar will give trustees an understanding of their duties as an employer, and will also provide guidance on making trusts great places to work for all employees, giving practical examples and guidance around how this can be achieved at board level.

The session will cover the current challenges and opportunities the sector faces around employment, giving trustees the information they need to ask the right questions and make good decisions. The seminar will also cover the role of HR and similar committees and explain how they can be used most effectively to support and monitor a trust-wide people strategy, as well as managing remuneration and performance.
