By bringing together the best-in-class HR advice with market-leading technology, we provide a unique service that provides holistic support across the employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to casework, consultancy, challenging industrial relations and people strategy reviews. 

With EPM Connect, our cutting-edge technology platform, you’ll benefit from centralised data in one secure location, allowing you to analyse data trends and patterns via an interactive dashboard, enabling you to streamline processes, drive efficiencies and proactively manage your workforce data.

To empower effective employee management, you’ll receive automated reminder alerts, have access to a detailed audit trail, task tracking, and informative graphs and charts, providing a holistic view for data-driven strategic decisions.

Employees have access to a central online portal to carry out key activities such as viewing tasks, updating personal information, and making leave requests, resulting in improved accuracy and a significant reduction in the time spent on employee related administration. Plus, with the automatic generation of employee contracts and contractual letters, these are instantly secured on the employee’s profile, along with their e-signature accepting the terms.

Our team of HR experts provide unlimited support and advice on contractual documentation, as well as advice on all stages of the employee lifecycle, including alignment with people strategy for organisational growth and success. You’ll have access to a dedicated highly skilled, multi-disciplinary EPM team with dedicated contacts, who will work alongside you using the data gathered in EPM Connect, to proactively manage your workforce, enabling potential challenges to be addressed proactively. We’ll assist in identifying and implementing customised solutions that align with your people strategy and objectives. 

We also provide regular updates on best practice and legislative changes in the sector, to ensure compliance and help our schools and trusts stay at the forefront of the education landscape.

How we help

Since 1993, we have worked exclusively in education and helped over 2,500 schools and 200 trusts to become more efficient and successful. However, in that time we have never stood still and regularly engage with our customers, the wider sector, CIPP, CIPD, the Better Hiring Institute and other regulatory bodies, to understand the challenges facing the sector and how we can evolve our service to address these challenges. 

An example of this has been the development of EPM Connect, our cutting-edge people management platform, which enhances our services and support. Based on the feedback from school leaders we understood that there was gap that needed bridging between HR technology and advice. With input from those in the sector, we have developed a unique service that brings together the best-in-class advice with market-leading technology, allowing us to offer a complete end-to-end solution, and from an organisation with a proven track-record of over 30 years’ experience, in the industry.
With the automation of processes and centralised data, we aim to free up valuable time to allow school and trust leaders to focus on what matters most – achieving education outcomes. But we are more than technology. People are at the heart of what we do. 

With the education landscape continuously changing, and with the government’s focus on building strong trusts, it is more important than ever that there is a community and sounding board for trust leaders to share their learnings and challenges in a safe space. This is why we offer complimentary blogs, webinars, training, and roundtable sessions to help school leaders improve, share their insights and experiences, and hear from industry experts. Having worked with some of the largest MATs on their growth journey, we understand the challenges and inflection points of MAT growth.  We provide support to MAT Boards with employee relations, people strategy and strategic growth plans, as well as financial planning and advice.  Our safeguarding offering is also a key part of our service.
