Walter specialises in advising enterprises on commercial contract risk and maximising value from complex commercial arrangements. He has over 25 years’ experience working in industry in senior commercial management roles and as a teacher and professional advisor in the commercial assessment and optimisation of contracts, procurement, contract management and capital projects. He has deep experience in public procurement and is currently working with organisations across the UK public sector in implementing the new Procurement Act.
Walter has extensive experience in training and coaching commercial teams. He is a lecturer at University College London on their MSc and commercial training programmes and he is an accredited assessor on the UK Government’s Commercial Capability Programme. Walter is a fellow of the World Commerce & Contracting Association (IACCM, International Association for Contract & Commercial Management).
