Mark spent his teaching career in primary education progressing to headship and later became CEO of two multi academy trusts. He also had two stints as a local authority primary adviser and in one of these, led governor training and development for Cornwall LA. Mark is an experienced governor within the maintained and academy structures at local and board level. He is currently chair of trustees for Corinium Education Trust based in Gloucestershire and a local governor in other trusts. Mark enjoys the voluntary role and is pleased to be able to bring some of his strategic experience to support local governors and trustees.
