School trusts to benefit from expert energy advice from new partner Ginger Energy

Thousands of schools across England will be able to access expert professional advice on energy more easily thanks to a new partnership between Ginger Energy and the country's leading organisation for school trusts.

The firm is partnering with the Confederation of School Trusts (CST), the national sector body for school trusts, to offer advice and guidance to schools on how to minimise energy costs. Ginger Energy will offer industry insight, guidance and sector expertise to help CST members feel more empowered and informed as they navigate today's rapidly changing energy market.

The partnership is part of the Confederation's Platinum Partner scheme, which brings together leading companies within the industry and CST’s members, which together are responsible for the education of more than three million young people.

Ginger Energy is a specialist energy consultancy with extensive knowledge in the energy supply industry. Their focus on supporting clients, helping them to understand and navigate the complex energy landscape and ever-changing regulatory environment will be invaluable to the schools and Trust sector.

Leora Cruddas CBE, Chief Executive of Confederation of School Trusts, said:

"Access to specialist expertise and support is crucial to leaders in navigating difficult times. Changes to the energy procurement landscape and fluctuations in the energy markets are having a significant impact on Trust finances. This is an ongoing challenge that CST is continuing to raise with officials and Ministers; I hope having the expertise of Ginger Energy available to members will support them in their leadership throughout the energy crisis and beyond.”

Lisa Gregory, Director of Ginger Energy said:

"The team at Ginger Energy are delighted to provide market insight and guidance to CST members, to help formulate the right purchasing strategy for their Trust. With increasing upward pressure on energy costs, it has never more important for every available measure to be taken, to ensure value for money from energy contracts.”
