As students receive their A level results, Leora Cruddas CBE, Chief Executive of CST, said:
"Today we’re celebrating the fantastic achievements of young people up and down the country, who have shown remarkable resilience throughout the pandemic and can be proud of their hard work.
"As is always the case on results days, there will be some students and schools who are disappointed. We know teachers and school leaders will be supporting students to progress to the next stages of their lives, just as they did in 2019 and before.
"I pay tribute to all those students – and their teachers – who are receiving results today.”
