Speech & Language Link is a specialist provider of speech, language and communication support tools for UK schools. Founded by a team of experienced speech and language therapists, our mission is to ensure every child with speech, language and communication needs receives timely, effective support, regardless of where they live or learn. We work closely with schools, school trusts, Local Authorities and NHS services to deliver practical, accessible solutions that fit seamlessly into the classroom. Our packages are designed to empower teachers, teaching assistants and SENCos with the tools and confidence to identify needs early and deliver targeted interventions. Our team combines clinical expertise with a deep understanding of educational environments. We’re passionate about co-production and collaboration, regularly partnering with councils and community hubs to develop inclusive, scalable support systems. From nursery to secondary school, we offer tailored packages that grow with children’s developmental needs. We also host The Link Community, a vibrant network of educators and therapists sharing best practice, insights and CPD opportunities. Speech & Language Link offers a suite of digital toolkits that help schools identify and support pupils with speech, language and communication needs.

Our packages span early years, infant, junior and secondary phases, ensuring continuity of support throughout a child’s education. Each toolkit includes:

- Assessments to pinpoint language or speech sound difficulties
- Fully resourced interventions tailored to specific needs
- Staff training to build confidence and competence
- Ongoing support from our specialist Help Desk

Our assessments identify underlying communication difficulties, enabling targeted support that strengthens speech and language skills and, in turn, enhances literacy, oracy, learning, wellbeing and behaviour. Our Language Link package focusses on supporting language skills such as vocabulary, concepts and grammar, alongside attention and listening and interaction skills.

Speech Link focuses on speech sound development and phonological awareness, offering screening tools and interventions that are easy to deliver. We’ve recently launched Little Link, a new early years package designed to support preschool children’s communication development. Our packages extend all the way to 14 years, with Secondary Language Link addressing the needs of older students navigating more complex academic and social language demands.

We also offer CPD-accredited training courses and host a podcast series with practical ‘talking takeaways’ for educators.
