Robin is part of The Key Group, created by the team behind GovernorHub and The Key.
Launched in 2024 after extensive research with schools and MAT leaders, Robin transforms compliance from a manual, time-consuming, repetitive task into an automated process.
In minutes, Robin reviews school websites against the DfE requirements and audits every published policy, flagging anything outdated or missing.
For MATs, Robin delivers a trust-wide compliance overview, ensuring consistency across all academies and freeing governance teams to focus on solutions rather than searches.
Today, 110+ MATs (1,300+ schools) use Robin — and you can start with a free website audit for one of your schools.
Robin currently completes two important tasks:
Website compliance checks
- Reviews school websites against up to 65 DfE requirements (varies by school type and
phase).
- Produces a detailed report in minutes, highlighting what’s compliant, what’s missing and
what’s outdated.
- Provides trust-wide dashboards to track progress across all schools, spot trends and
identify areas for improvement.
Policy audits
- Identifies every policy published on school websites, checks dates and flags if they’re
overdue.
- Provides visibility where schools have lots of policies published (some have 80+).
- Tracks updates over time to ensure consistency and accuracy across your Trust.
The benefits:
- Time saved: What once took hours can now be done in minutes.
- Accuracy: Robin finds hidden or outdated content often missed in manual reviews.
- Confidence: Trust leaders know their schools are compliant, all year round.
- Clarity: Dashboards and downloadable audits make reporting to Ofsted or boards seamless.
We listen closely to customer feedback and regularly add new features (e.g. MAT-specific custom
website requirements) to further reduce your workload and strengthen trust-wide compliance.
At Robin, our core values are collaboration, authenticity and AI for social impact.
We built Robin hand-in-hand with trust leaders to solve real problems and continue to evolve with sector feedback.
“We are of, and for, the sector.”
Many of our small team have had long careers in education and/or volunteer as school governors, giving us a genuine understanding of school and MAT needs. We’re also passionate about using AI responsibly to reduce workload and strengthen public services, starting with governance.
We share sector insights through the Robin blog where we publish articles, case studies and reports based on real Robin data. We also host webinars and events throughout the year to connect, learn and support trust leaders.
