Parent-Friendly Schools

Parent-Friendly Schools is part of Parentkind. With 60 years of experience in education, we support schools to partner more closely with parents. With a combined offer of accreditation, parent survey, training, and data articulation, we support schools on their improvement journey. Our mission is to improve learner outcomes because everyone comes together to support them to reach their potential.

Our accreditation is a journey from Standard Award, to Silver Award, and then to Gold Award. Through this journey, we offer training and support to schools to help them make the improvements that will deliver on the promise of parent partnerships. We also offer Parenting Language, our unique parent survey that can also support schools to improve communication with their parents.

Our Blueprint Framework for Parent Participation offers 5 drivers and 25 initiatives for evolving the partnership with parents. This framework is the basis of all our work with schools, as it offers a language for problem-solving around something that can feel emotive and challenging for school teams. We are a supportive coach, mentor and friend in the journey schools take with parents.
