Since our foundation in 2017, ImpactEd Group has worked with thousands of schools and hundreds of organisations, serving more than a quarter of a million pupils. We are committed to helping our partner organisations become more sustainable and impactful in their work, to drive school improvement. Crucial to our mission is helping organisations to do more of what works and less of what doesn’t. We are committed to responsible business and became employee owned in 2025.
The Group is organised into specialist practices, ImpactEd Consulting and ImpactEd Evaluation, which support partners with evaluation, research, strategy, AI and philanthropy.
ImpactEd Consulting works with senior leaders within schools and education organisations to establish, support and deliver on their key strategic priorities.
ImpactEd Evaluation are research and evaluation specialists, working with over 1,500 schools and more than 100 education organisations to support evaluation planning, delivery and capacity building in the system.
ImpactEd Group is a proud partner to CST, having co-delivered the School Improvement Hub https://schoolimprovementhub.org/ and Inclusion in Practice https://inclusioninpractice.org.uk/ to explore, understand, and share emerging, promising school practice.
ImpactEd supports evaluation design, delivery and capacity building for schools, charities and education organisations, supporting leaders to understand where they are making the biggest impact and target resources.
Across the group we convene and lead targeted research and action projects for schools and system leaders, building the evidence base around high-priority issues for the sector, creating contextual benchmarks and giving back actionable insights to participants. Our work on attendance, engagement, inclusion and reducing youth violence are recent examples of collaborative school projects.
In our Consulting practice we work with our school and sector partners to establish, support and deliver on their key strategic priorities. This could be strategy work, operating models, people and EDI projects, governance reviews, dashboards or cross sector convening projects.
We also have domain expertise in philanthropy. Our expert team can provide specialist advice to build fundraising strategy, activities, teams and tools, including advising school groups on setting up charitable structures.
Finally, in a fast-changing world, we support schools and institutions to think through data and AI strategy, from designing and implementing pilots, to building strategy and evaluating what works.
Since 2017 we have worked with over 1500 schools, 100 charities and a number of EdTech companies with the goal of helping schools, leaders and organisations become more impactful. We are committed to sharing learnings from our research with the sector as a public good through publications, events and webinars. Our work has brought together insights from over 250,000 pupils. Landmark research projects and reports include:
