Sparrowhawk's founder, Jessica Shepherd, spent almost 10 years at the Guardian, mostly as Education Correspondent, but also as one of the News Editors. She has worked at a senior level in communications for an agency of the Home Office and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and has been the Head of Communications and Campaigns for a national youth charity and Head of Communications (Education and Student Affairs) for University College London. She has outstanding contacts in the national and trade media, the writing skills to powerfully and persuasively engage your key audiences and an in-depth knowledge of the education, sector.
