The ImpactEd Group has launched a project called Understanding Attendance.
With over 200 schools already participating, early themes are emerging. Key amongst these are the importance of a sense of belonging and a granular approach to tackling absence based on pupil characteristics. In this session, Owen Carter and Lucy Preston will discuss these themes, with a view to making their findings as accessible and actionable for schools and trusts.
