CST's response to the Department of Education's consultation on the introduction of minimum service levels in education during industrial action.
The government has passed legislation to enable minimum service levels to be applied within key sectors in the event of strike action. This is known as the Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Act 2023.
On 28 November 2023 the Department for Education launched a consultation on the application of the legislation to education services.
