CST announces partnership with FFT Education

Today, FFT Education, joins the Confederation of School Trusts (CST), the sector body for school trusts, as its platinum partner for education data analysis and insight. CST's platinum partners are leading organisations that provide quality services to school trusts and share our commitment to creating specialist knowledge for good governance, leadership and management.

FFT is a non-profit organisation established in 2001 as part of the Fischer Family Trust. It focuses on providing accurate and insightful information to schools which enables pupils to achieve their full potential and schools to improve. It's online system, FFT Aspire, is used by over 14,000 schools and trusts in England and Wales to promote school improvement through high quality analytics including results analyses, self-evaluation, target setting and tracking of progress and attendance.

More recently, FFT has also expanded its range of literacy programmes for primary schools. It has now received ‘Approved tuition partner’ status as part of the National Tutoring Programme.

Leora Cruddas, Chief Executive of CST said, 'Quality data on pupil achievement is essential to school improvement at scale. We are delighted to be working with FFT to collaborate on strengthening trusts' use of insightful data. We also look forward to drawing upon FFT's deep data set and highly respected analytical research capabilities to inform our policy work.'

Paul Charman, Managing Director of FFT, said, 'We currently work closely with school trusts of all sizes. We are pleased that our new partnership with CST will enable us to develop broader understanding across the sector and create new insights into its achievements.'
