SEND: Inclusion strategies and early years

This SEND and Inclusion professional community pop-up webinar series supports trusts with the practical implementation of the Schools White Paper and SEND reforms.

Across three sessions, we will consider both the intended direction of reform and the realities of delivery. With expert speakers, the series will create a space to discuss areas where detail is still emerging, so members can share experience, identify implications for their own settings, and reflect on key questions.

This session will explore how schools can approach the new requirement to produce inclusion strategies. We will discuss what a successful inclusion strategy is likely to include, and how SEND leaders can use these documents to support meaningful and contextually responsive plans that deliver impact for all children.

We will also discuss how schools and trusts can prioritise early years in their inclusion work, including early identification of need, support around transition, and working in partnership to support children and families.
