CST's response to the Ofsted's consultation on improving education inspection.
In Feburary 2025 Ofsted launched a consultation on changes to its education inspection framework.
This follows its previous Big Listen consultation and the interim removal of overall inspection grades from school inspection reports.
CST's response is based on consultation with members and is intended to highlight key areas raised by school trusts. As a diverse sector there are diverging views on aspects of the consultation, and CST's response is intended to be considered alongside responses from trusts themselves.
