New partnership to help trusts with culture and people strategy

School trusts looking to improve their staff recruitment and retention can now call on a new partnership between their sector body and Talent Architects, an award-winning HR, coaching, and people strategy consultancy.

Talent Architects is partnering with the Confederation of School Trusts to provide insight and support to school trusts on people strategy and organisational culture, helping them both attract talented staff and deliver the best outcomes for pupils.

Founder Mandy Coalter has previously worked with CST on significant thought leadership papers on creating schools as great places to work, equality, diversity and inclusion, and developing a trust people strategy.

The partnership is part of the Confederation's Platinum Partner scheme, which brings together leading companies within the industry and CST’s members, which together are responsible for the education of more than three million young people.

CST Chief Executive Leora Cruddas CBE said: "Whether teaching or providing crucial operational support, staff are the lifeblood of any school trust. It is vital that trust leaders have the right approach to creating a culture that celebrates, rewards, and supports them to succeed. Mandy’s thinking on this has proved extremely useful for many trusts in developing people strategies that make a real difference to recruitment and retention.”

Talent Architects founder Mandy Coalter said: "We have been working with CST for many years and it is fantastic to deepen that relationship now by becoming a Platinum Partner. It has never been a more important time for school trusts to focus on their staff and their culture, to make sure that they recruit and retain the best people and in turn get the best outcomes for pupils.”
