But it wasn't just the impact they've had on their schools. It’s the impact of their actions on their community and their response to the community’s needs. I truly felt that every single young person mattered to that Trust and that shines through.”

Neetu Sadhwani, Head of Faculty Modern Foreign Languages at Avanti House Secondary School, part of Avanti Schools Trust, gained recognition with the Subject Lead of the Year (Secondary) award. Judge Simon Knight, Joint Headteacher at Frank Wise School, highlighted Robert’s understanding "that if success is only located within the classroom and has limited application in the wider world, then it is less valuable. It is this belief that is a key factor in his [Robert’s] student's success within school and will hopefully result in them enjoying success beyond."

Burnage Academy for Boys, secured the Secondary School of the Year Award recognising the school’s academic achievements as well as their longstanding commitment to supporting students holistically. Judge Dame Christine Gilbert, said: "Burnage Academy is an inspiring and inclusive school where families are supported well and students thrive, love learning and achieve exceptionally well. ”
