The Skills White Paper sets out a vision for greater alignment between the school curriculum and careers provision and local/national skills priorities. It also sets out new responsibilities for trusts around work experience and the Youth Guarantee, including early identification and transition planning for potentially NEET pupils. What are the strategic implications and how can trustees prepare?
We will be joined by expert colleagues from Careers and Enterprise Company, including Marie Jobson (Senior Education Manager), Rose Ryan (Policy and Corporate Affairs Manager) and Lesley Thain (Head of Education Policy & Practice), as well as hearing directly from a trust with established careers provision.
