Chief executives community meeting

Our termly professional community meetings, held online, bring together colleagues from across the country to discuss the vital issues for their role. They feature guest experts and lively discussions, focusing on topical or strategic issues for school trusts.

Members who have signed up to our community platform can use the Book Now link to register in advance for free and accessing joining details.

In this term's meeting we will be focusing on the concept of the trust as a protective structure.

Harvard Business School Professor Nancy Koehn says, “Resilience is the capacity to not only endure great challenges, but get stronger in the midst of them.” We are delighted that we will be joined by Maggie Farrar.

We know that you, your leaders and headteachers are under multiple pressures at the moment. Complaints, campaigns and negative stories are a threat to the retention of some our brilliant leaders. The power of a school trust as a protective structure can help us navigate the times ahead. And of course we need the government to do more in this space, but we also need to build the resilience of our leaders.
