Trusts urged to take part in salary research

21st April 2023

A national survey aimed at gathering crucial data on school trust salaries is being launched today.

The Confederation of School Trusts, the sector body for academy trusts, is carrying out the research for the third year running in partnership with employment data specialists XpertHR and legal firm Browne Jacobson.

The survey – contributed to confidentially and securely by finance and HR teams at trusts across England - helps build and share a national picture of salaries across the trust sector.

XpertHR hold more than one million sets of UK salary data, enabling them to also provide comparisons with equivalent roles in the public sector and other charities, as well as the private sector.

The Confederation represents more than two thirds of the academy sector, and the survey is also open to trusts who have yet to join. Survey participants will receive a priority copy of the report, and an individual analysis of their trust’s position in the national picture.

To take part, trusts can register online for XpertHR’s secure portal.

The survey is open now until Friday, May 26.
