Sustainability strategy for school trusts

This CST masterclass will develop your understanding of what building a sustainability strategy for your trust involves and the considerations around structuring, resourcing and embedding it.

The course shows where your sustainability strategy sits in your trust, and how it is linked to your financial and estates management planning, to your educational vision and to your values as an organisation.

It will define the key elements that make up sustainability in schools and offer practical advice centred around creating, implementing and measuring the impact of an energy and sustainability strategy.

It will also consider how and when to engage your board in the process of developing your sustainability strategy and highlight the challenges in turning your strategic intent into successful and impactful sustainability initiatives across your trust.
