This course, designed specifically for trustees, will support boards to effectively fulfil their core function of holding executive leaders to account for educational outcomes for all pupils.
This two-hour seminar will provide an introduction to the core principles of interrogating data, giving delegates the confidence to make reasonable inferences for the information they are provides, and to ask the right questions of executive leaders.
The session will also give a comprehensive overview of national assessments, including how key metrics are calculated and their usefulness in quality assuring school performance. We will also look at approaches to internal assessment in a trust context and discuss the the use of targets as KPIs.
