Careers, curriculum, and the honest experiment
This webinar will delve into the changing requirements around careers education - and the way trusts are evolving their approaches to meet them.
Join Together Learning Trust's Triestina Bozzo and Lloyds' Ian Browne to explore new approaches to careers education.
This is not a best-practice showcase or a product pitch. It is an honest account of what Lloyds Banking Group has attempted, learned and in some cases got wrong in its work with school trusts over recent years.
The session is designed to give trust leads and careers leads:
- A practical framework for building careers provision as a designed progression across year groups rather than a series of disconnected events.
- Concrete examples of employer-school partnership in action, including what worked, what surprised us and what we would do differently.
- A new way of thinking about employer engagement that moves beyond the transactional model toward co-designed, sustained partnership.
- Honest reflection on the limits of what employer-led intervention can achieve alone, and why school-employer data sharing and targeting matters.
Speakers:
- Triestina Bozzo, Senior Director of Personal Development, Together Learning Trust
- Ian Browne, Early Careers and Skills Growth Lead, Lloyds Banking Group
