The Directors of Education and Improvement Forum

The Confederation of School Trusts and Renaissance are delighted to invite you to a forum we are hosting exclusively for Directors of Education and Improvement in school trusts. Join us for an afternoon of discussion and networking with Leora Cruddas, Chief Executive of CST, Sir David Carter, former National Schools Commissioner, and an influential sector leader. This will be followed by a networking drinks reception, dinner and accommodation.

The proposition of improving a group of schools is a complex task – improvement needs to be a focus at group level as well as at individual school level. Peter Drucker said: “The crisis of the world is, above all, an institutional crisis demanding institutional innovation.” The opportunity we have now is to secure sector-led innovation driven by school trusts – institutions whose purpose is the advancement of education for the public benefit. Across our group of schools, we can mobilise a collective effort that delivers value to every child, and high-quality education driven by the best evidence that may have seemed impossible 20 years ago.

This highly prestigious event is being offered on a first-come, first-served basis to CST members as a member benefit. It is offered to directors of improvement, those responsible for leading improvement across a trust, and executive leaders. There are only 25 places available , so early booking is essential.  As places are limited, we are unfortunately only able to offer one place per trust in the first instance.  We will hold a waiting list for additional colleagues, should spaces be available.
