Pearson
Who we are
Pearson is the world’s leading learning company, with over 20,000 employees in nearly 200 countries working to help everyone achieve their potential through learning.
We do this by providing high-quality content and learning experiences, as well as assessments and qualifications that help people build their skills and grow with the world around them.
We’re proud to work alongside UK schools, families and the education community to support every learning journey from the ages of 4 to 19. From our well-loved curriculum programmes and tutoring and wellbeing services through to revision and our GCSE, International GCSE, BTEC and A level qualifications, there’s plenty to help students progress in the ways that work best for them. Together with real-time insights from our online services as well as our Professional Development Academy, we aim to help teachers shape the best teaching and learning experiences.
Learning is the most powerful force for change in the world. That’s why we’re focusing on supporting diversity and inclusion, positive mental health and wellbeing, and sustainability in education. Driven by research, collaboration and your feedback, we’re harnessing new innovations and unlocking opportunities to make learning more impactful, inclusive and accessible now and in future.
What we do
Pearson is the largest UK awarding organisation, offering more than 150 qualifications across GCSE, International GCSE, A level, BTEC, T level and more, in a variety of subject areas. We provide qualifications that measure and reflect students' true abilities, no matter what.
We offer a range of resources to help navigate the journey each learner will take, whatever their pathway. Our resources support students through every stage of their learning journey, from ages 4-19.
We're home to many of the UK’s favourite educational resources, including:
- KS3 Curriculum Resources - Our KS3 English, maths, science, history and MFL resources have been designed to build confidence and ensure students expand on the foundational skills of each subject to allow for progression. Already loved by thousands of teachers and learners, our tried-and-trusted courses bring the fun back into learning and provide a seamless transition from KS2 to KS3, as well as from KS3 to KS4. Our most popular resources include market-leading series such as Dynamo for KS3 French, Maths Progress and Exploring History.
- ActiveLearn - ActiveLearn provides time-saving teaching and learning tools to help support you and your learners and enables you to provide your classes with a personalised teaching and learning experience.
- Bug Club - Bug Club is shown to deliver 30 months of progress in reading in just 18 months whilst developing a love of reading. From decoding words to developing fluency every step is supported with comprehensive planning, teaching and assessment tools.
- Power Maths - Power Maths is a DfE approved primary whole-class mastery programme designed to spark curiosity and excitement and help nurture confidence in maths.
- REVISE - From the very start of students' GCSE study, Pearson Revise is a better way to keep their learning up to date, practise skills and prepare for assessments and exams. We offer a range of formats for classroom and independent study: Revision Guides, Workbooks, Practice Papers, Revision Cards and Planners. Our books have been tried and tested over nearly 10 years by GCSE student.
- Target - Target intervention workbooks focus on the most common misconceptions and barriers students face with mathematics to help them catch up, keep up and make expected progress.

We combine our qualifications with integrated services and support that provided schools with the tools needed to enable students to reach their full potential. Here’s a snapshot of the support we offer:
- Mocks Service -
The Mocks Service provides schools and colleges with Pearson Edexcel GCSE and A level exam papers for use in mock exams. The papers are sat by students and marked by Pearson examiners to provide consistent and accurate marking. Mock results are uploaded to ResultsPlus for item-level analysis.
- Results Plus - ResultsPlus is our online results analysis tool for teachers that gives you a detailed breakdown of your students’ performance in both mock and high-stake exams. This allows teachers to identify gaps in skills, knowledge and understanding, enabling them to plan and implement intervention and support for their students.
- examWizard - examWizard is an online resource containing a huge bank of past paper questions and support materials to help schools create their own mock exams and tests.
- Pearson Tutoring - As providers of qualifications and resources, we are in a unique position to provide high-quality tuition from qualified UK-based teachers, using standardised lesson materials and assessments. We provide online tutoring directly to schools, to help them support any pupil who would benefit from focused tuition.
Throughout the year we provide access to qualifications training events led by our team of subject advisors and assessment experts. Our event programmes support schools in the delivery of our qualifications with confidence.
