Members’ vote to create a national organisation and sector body for school trusts
On Friday 21 September 2018, members voted unanimously to become the Confederation of School Trusts (CST). A total of 377 votes were cast with 100 percent being in favour of the change. Registration of CST at Companies House was confirmed on 24 September.
We would like to thank members for the support they have shown for this direction of travel. As the voice of school trusts, the CST will make a decisive contribution to the institutional architecture of education in England.
CST will be launched at a national conference taking place on 11 October at the British Library. The Rt Hon Damian Hinds MP, Secretary of State for Education is sending a personal video message to delegates and will meet with CST board members at the end of the day in a roundtable session.
Please join us on this historic occasion.
